Adrien Pichon
Sourcing, import and advice
Ten years in Japan working with bonsai. President of Bonsai Collectors, which handles sourcing, quarantine and export from Japan. He is also the one who leads the trips.
JP Hoareau
Care and styling, across France
A travelling bonsai specialist, consultant to the bonsai collection at the Parc Floral de Paris since 2021. He works directly with collectors, on private and public collections alike.
Alexandre Gsell
Care and boarding, Paris and Île-de-France
His business Bonsaï Sugi offers maintenance, nursery boarding, personal advice and workshops around Paris.
Martin Tachon
Boarding and projects, Paris and Île-de-France
He has spent years supporting other bonsai professionals. He takes trees in for boarding, and wiring is one of his strengths. He also works on wider projects: events, garden creation.
A tree arriving from Japan
A tree that has just made the journey needs time to settle: new climate, new water, new light. The first months matter.
That is the reason this collective exists. Bringing a tree over makes no sense if nobody can keep it alive afterwards.
